- A co-working space is a situation where individuals, small companies or entrepreneurs hire desks and work in the shared communal setting but not for the same company.
2. What is the difference between a hot desk and a permanent desk?
- At The Innovation Factory (TIF), a hot desk enjoys pretty much the same perks as a permanent desk with mainly two differentiations where the hot desk has an unassigned desk and must take your possessions with you when you pack up at the end of the day. Also, the hot desks are 1200x750 whereas permanent desks are 1800x750.

4. Do you have month-to-month memberships?
- All memberships at The Innovation Factory are month-to-month, given our tenants the flexibility they are after
5. How many hours can I access the meeting rooms if I am a member?
- You have unlimited access to the meeting room
6. Are there any termination notice?
- There are no termination notices at The Innovation Factory. However, we would appreciate your support being pre-informed.
7. What kind of events do you host for members?
- Our events range from networking events, open mic events, workshops, public speaking & intellectual property and more
8. Do I have to make an appointment for a tour?

9. Why is coworking better than working from home?
- Each individual is different, and you can do both! But coworking has more edge than working from home as you enjoy less distractions aside from not feeling lonely. At the professional front, you get to meet and interact with like-minded business people who are at similar stages, you open your network and skillshare alongside you to become part of your second family, a real community. To add up at TIF, every second Friday you enjoy new events and meet individuals from the wider community.
10. Can I use the event space if I am not a member?
- Yes! The booking for the event space is open to our members and non-members. We can also schedule evenings/weekend events. Simply, reach out to [email protected] for details about events.
